Hmm... I don't know how CUPS is set up on OS X, but I've seen CUPS
configured exactly that way on other systems. IIRC, there is a package
called 'cupsomatic' that includes many printer drivers and handles exactly
what you want to do.

What I don't know is how/if it will fit with the CUPS installation on OS X.
