As I have read elseware, Apple's 0S X is 'way' sensitive to what combination of RAM you have installed. Would I be too far of the mark in guessing Linux would have the same memory issiues? This old beige G3, of the late 333 Mhz flavor, came with the standard 64 MB chunk of RAM, and some where in its life someone has added an addtional 256 MB dim.
I am still making stabs at guesses for search terms in Google and the Mandrake Cooker, but as of yet, I haven't figured out the 'right' combintations.
