Single disc install of OS X boots in just over 4 minutes on a lowend 1.8 ghz P4. This is the genetic Win32-JIT version. I will make Pearpc on a nix box and see if it improves matters.
Speed is closer to running 7.1 on a 68000 classic, a tad faster. Not as fast as Basilisk running 8.1.

A friend has completed her book using Ragtime Solo, I didn't see it mentioned in the other thread. Good for my limited uses and free for personal use, I've only seen it running under OS9.x
