i just uploaded YDL and, first of all i'm enjoying it immensely and i
know i haven't even begun to delve into the details. but second of all,
i'm not getting any sound. granted i've only been running YDL for a day
now, whenever i try to get it to detect my card i get this error
messege:
"sound server informational messege:
error while initializing the sound driver:
SNDCTL_DSP_SETFMT failed - invalid argument
the sound server will continue, using the null output device."
can anyone please tell me how to fix this so i can get sound? i'm using a PowerBook G4 if that helps.
thnx,
Andrew
It seems to happen on other systems too.
Back when I was trying YDL on a 9500/200, I would get the same error message. Never could figure out what the cause was.
I'll try again on my 9600/300 and see if it is any better.
