Hello Dusan, you could either force SAP DB to overwrite its log volume as needed, thereby avoiding the need for log backups and increasing the risk of data loss in case of disk problems or you could deactivate write operations on the log volume at all, thereby avoiding the need for log backups, increasing performance and loosing data due to restarting the database.
You can change both setting using DBMGUI->Configuration->Log Settings->Next. The first case can be configured through the "Overwrite Mode for the Log Area", the second through "Activating or Deactivating Redo Log Management".
