I have a question about the installation of the MaxDB on Windows 2000. When it is installed, it creates the following 4 services
SAPDB: .m750008 SAPDB: .m750008 (omststknl.exe) SAPDB: .m750008 (quick) SAPDB: .m750008 (fast)
I cannot start the services. How can I delete them?
These are called the 'service kernel'. They are used to check that backup files are readable. There is no need to delete them, some functions of DBM GUI might not work if you do. There is also no need for them to be running all the time. They are started by the database manager when they are needed.
