Hi,

first of all: What release do you use? Is it older than 7.5.0.12 and younger than
7.5.00.08? If yes, then there is a bug that prevents Win WebFolder to recognize the
MaxDB WebDAV as a WebDAV server. This was/will be fixed with 7.5.00.12. Anyway, a
7.5.00.11 should work properly besides this one issue.

Did you had a look into your webdav32.log file? Or in the sapdbxie.log? Usually
Internal Server Errors (500) are logged there with a more prosaic message. Maybe the
Database is not running? Or the logon information for the session pool is not correct?
(these are the things that trouble me usually :o) )

So please provide me the version of your MaxDB/WebTools and the log files mentioned
above.

Cheers,
Daniel

Betreff: problems with webdav

Hi,

I am having problems with webdav at maxdb(sapdb). I am running the maxdb
7.5 on Redhat V8.1. I managed to get websql/webdbm/waadmin work and can
see the webdav/xml tables, but I can not get the indexing service work
and also can not make the Windows Web-floder work with maxdb webdav. I
attached my ini file to this message. I have completely run out of ideas
on this. Any helps would be appreciated.

1: Does anyone make the maxdb/webdav work? Does it work with Windows
web-folder?

2: I could see a web page with four webdav function tabs when I pointed
to my "http://localhost:9999/webdav?gui";, but I was getting internal 500
error when I click the "indexing setting" tab. Does anyone have the idea
what is wrong with it?

3: Without going to "indexing setting", does anyone know how to set the
indexing service up?

Regards,
Gorton Zhao
