What happens when you type:
#/opt/test/sapdb/indep_prog/bin/dbmcli db_enum
Also, this may seem very obvious, but why are you using 7.4? SAPDB^H^H^H^H MaxDB 7.5 is currently available at: www.mysql.com/maxdb
Is there any reason why you need to use 7.4? It seems to me all of these problems (particularly those with the libs) result in using a old version of SAPDB on a new linux distro.
Just an idea...
