restarting maxDB?

Hello.  It seems my maxDB instance has "hung up."  (It says that the 
data cache is at 94% and will not respond any more to any requests.)  Is 
there a way to re-start the database or refresh it?

Also, what are the minimum hardware requirements for MaxDB?  I did not 
see this on the website.
