Hay everyone! I've installed max-db 7_5_00_15 on Windows XP and after that did the same on Win2000 Professional OS, but I had same problem:
After installing GUI Database Manager 7.5 I tried to create a test instance and I succeded. But, after I had droped the test instance I tried create this time new database and I use create instance wizard. I choosed: - Blank database - initialize parameters with default values - OLTP instance type - create data volume 100MB, and log volume 1MB and started creating action. After: Starting database instance...OK Initializing configuration...OK Activating the database instance...OK Loading system tables... has never ended. I tried same procedure few times on both OS and after first time creating instance and its droping, I have never created instance again. I try reinstall both database tools and database server, and it wasn't solution to problem. I thought about creating instance with command line dbmcli tool but I don't know which system tables I need include in my instance. I search on google, and max-db list, but I didn't find messages with this topic. Please, can anybody help... Thanks in advance!
