Hi,
We have a MaxDB installation that appears to be suffereing from
performance problems. I have looked at the log files using database
manager and note that in the SUSPENDS log we have a high percentage of
IO waits for reading. The percentage is 14.92 and the report lists
"b13get_node: await read" in the log entry with a ":-(" smiley at the
end of the entry. I assume this is indictaing that this is not good.
We currently access the database from Java servlets using a
single database user for all connection and I have noticed that in the
documentation it states that a lock in a task in a user thread will
block all other tasks.
Does anybody have a pointers to where I can find more
information on b13get_node and possible reasons for this high percentage
os suspends.
