Hi Alexander, the answers to your questions: 1. the statement is a non-prepared statement (executeQuery) 2. the column is defined as CHAR ASCII 3. database version is 7.5.00.19 I made the tests with jdbc driver 7_6_00_00_3247 first and installed yesterday version 7_6_00_00_3360 with the same result.
