Good morning,

We are trying to evaluate MaxDB 7.6. We have to move our database from a Linux
MaxDB 7.5.0.26 to a Windows XP MaxDB 7.6.0.10 server. To do so should create a
full backup of our database from our old linux database, copy the files to our
windows server and then create a database for recovering the datas. Here are
our problems :

- When creating the database for recovery, the informations of the source
database are well read BUT when processing a "0" error and a "communication
error" occur. Anyway the database is created and in admin state.

- When restoring the datas everything works fine.

- When upgrading the system tables everything works fine.

- When accessing to some tables (with no specific properties) the following
error occurs
Auto Commit: On, SQL Mode: Internal, Isolation Level: Committed
General error;-3007 POS(1) Invalid sequence of DML and DDL statements
SELECT * FROM "DBA"."TELTSAFFAIRE"

It makes our database unusable.

Are there known compatibility issues from 7.5.0.26 to 7.6.0.10 ?
Are there known compatibility issues from Linux to Windows MaxDB Servers ?
Is there something we should know about migrating from 7.5.x.x to 7.6.0.10 ?

King regards.
Xavier.
