sorry for being so slow. Knowing the error message I second what Markus Döhr 
has said in his answer, please check whether the link exists or not and whether 
it is accessible for the database kernel or not.

When I try to create a new volume I receive the following message:

 -24891 the symbolic link /sapdb/BWP/sapdata/DISKD0002 does not exist
[db_adddevice DATA /sapdb/BWP/sapdata/DISKD0002 L 1048576

Any ideas how to solve it ?
