Hello Tilo, I opened an OSS message last Friday, but it was rejected, because this is a matter of consulting and not of support.
Our systems are running on HP-UX 11.11/11.23 with various versions of MaxDB databases. What do you mean by creating some scripts? Do I have to substitute the save/restore executables or do I have to substitute some scripts on the MaxDB side. Thanks and best regards, Tobias. -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: Heinrich, Tilo [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Gesendet: Dienstag, 9. If the result is worth such effort, the next question would be, what OS you are using. As your are using R/3, you are a regular SAP customer. Therefore I have to advise you to open a OSS message at SAP regarding your question. Unfortunately I found no description of an exact implementation and no information regarding a (un)successful implementation. Therefore I have the following questions: Can anybody provide any implementation details for using compression with MaxDB and legato networker and has anybody implemented this successful? Thanks in advance.
