Hi Listmembers, I just want to metion two things that might be usefull (from my point of view) in the next manual-version of MaxDB:
1.) Updateable View-Tables It would be a great help if someone can add some examples for updateable Join-Views in the manual. These examples should not be too simple (like the DBPROC- and DBFUNCTION-Examples) so they can be used to understand the bafflegab of section 'Updateable Join View Table' - I think the things mentioned there are very abstract and therefore not easy to understand. Some examples might help ;) 2.) CHM-Files In the newest version of the compiled help files the index has been removed. I prefer to use the index as I often use the file to have a close look on an explicit statement - now I have to use the search-function that generates lots of hits in sections that are not needful for my purposes. I do not know the way others use the CHM-Files, but on the other side I do not think that I am the only one who preferes the index.
