Hi,

I want to install MaxDB 7.6.00.27 on a power edge sc430 system
on debian sarge.

Because the sc430 have disk not recognised during installation, i
used a special install, and have Linux this kernel :
2.6.15-1-em64t-p4 #2 Tue Mar 7 21:03:34 UTC 2006 x86_64 GNU/Linux

When doing custom installation, and trying to install server,
i get this :

#software in package ODBC is not runnable on your system
#MAKE SYSTEM: architecture = X86-64
#MAKE SYSTEM: c_runtime = GLIBC 2.3.3
#MAKE SYSTEM: subversion = 7.139-smp
#MAKE SYSTEM: system = Linux
#MAKE SYSTEM: version = 2.6.5
#
#YOUR SYSTEM: architecture = X86-64
#YOUR SYSTEM: c_runtime = GLIBC 2.3.2
#YOUR SYSTEM: subversion = 1-em64t-p4
#YOUR SYSTEM: system = Linux
#YOUR SYSTEM: version = 2.6.15
#installation exited abnormally at Th, May 18, 2006 at 18:10:29

I suppose i have 1 problem with the glibc version. Was searching
to install an 2.3.3, but found no debian packages nor sources to
compile. I read i may depend on the kernel, but tried the 2.6.8-12,
2.6.8-11 and 2.6, all in em64t version, but they don't work.

Do you know a solution to solve this ?
I get the same message when trying to install MaxDB 7.6.0.16.

Another question : is the subversion difference a potential problem ?

Regards
