Hi * (including fellow sufferers of bad i/o-performance)!

Hello Raimund,

anyone suffering?

the latest 7.6 release seems to contain possible improvements of the bad
i/o performance of maxdb (search for "clustered" in the changes list).

we're constantly working on performance related improvements and new features for
MaxDB.

my question is: what do the table attributes
mean in detail and (most importantly): how can I enable them? I assume
there is some way to "copy" a normal table into the "clustered" part of
the data file so that fast i/o becomes possible.

:-)

neither the change list nor the online documention give (me) a clue
(probably not updated, yet). or is there a magic instant improvement i
should be looking for?

the features related to these table attributes are not fully implemented
in 7.6.00.27. They will be announced and documented when they are ready for
deployment.
