1.- Full backup on source database

2.- Create the instance in your laptop, it might be 8-10GB for data volumes

3.- Recover with initialization on laptop

4.- Full backup in your laptop, then activate autolog save.

Hello Everbody !

I have a Linux server with a 40 giga maxdb database. (used 5 free 35) !
The data files are located on a SAN !

What is the easiest way to install,transport,copy... this database to a
linux testserver with only 20 giga local discspace.

This testserver is a laptop and will be used for some 'stand alone'
demostrations outside our LAN.

Any help welcomed.

Best regards

Albert
