Just to keep it clear. My client network has a DNS problem. What I did to solve the problem was to put all the network ip addresses and hostnames in hosts files in Linux until he solves it. It solved the problem.
Yeah, but are you also aware that this might cause an administrative chaos in the future? The preferred solution is to get DNS lookups fast and not overriding them with local definitions. just a hint.
