I tend to believe that in 7.5 it is not possible.



How risky is this it to perform load_systab, anyway?

It is mentioned only for fresh installations or upgrades...

Hi Ralf,
I assume you are using version 7.5, right ? In this version the user 
information is stored as raw data inside a B* tree. Loading the system 
tables again will not help.
