Hello David, Currently you have to specify as many external backup ID's as you have pipes within the used backup medium. As you must use non-parallel backup media for log restores too, only one EBID is allowed during a restore of one log backup (that means during one recover_start or one recover_replace call).
I recommend using DBMGUI for the restore, as it passes along the EBID's to the DBM Server as needed. The help indicates that you can only pass one EBID. When restoring a full data backup from a parallel medium, specifying "EBID1,EBID2" seems to work. But not when restoring log backups - dbmcli reports "the list of external backup ID's contains more than one ids". _____________________________________________________________________ BridgeHead Software is pleased to confirm this e-mail has been scanned for viruses by MessageLabs. -- MaxDB Discussion Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/maxdb To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
