Hi, do you mean the description in the reference manual is short (follow the links in the tutorial) or do you mean the tutorial is too short in this context?
Please keep in mind that the only full explanation of SQL-statements (syntax and semantics) can be found in the reference manual and that the tutorial is a document to give some overview of the opportunities one has with MaxDB and some examples.
