Hi I am a chemistry teacher who used Maple for most of my calculations. We recently migrated to Maxima under Windows Xp.
I wonder if you can help me with the fact i have a student who installed maxima 5.16.0 on his windows Vista base system and can run it without problems and an other one who cannot (his kasperky antivirues software has been disabled). Whe we try tou run the program, wee have the message : the program stopped!. Many new students buy new computers running udner Vista and I am afraid that this problem will be frequently seen.
