At this point I think Maxima-Jupyter is a usable environment for writing
text + math in documents. If anyone wants to give it a try, I'll be glad
to help.

I tried to install maxima jupiter like you said in git :
/git/maxima-jupyter$ python3 ./install-maxima-jupyter.py
--maxima-jupyter=/maxima
