We call her Ann.

Terakhir kali kami mengunjungi Ann di Sanur pada awal
tahun ini, Januari 2006. Tetapi pengalaman paling
berkesan dengan Ann adalah waktu kami bersama-sama
menghadiri Musyawarah Nasional Forum Komunikasi

selalu bicara Bahasa Inggris.

Ann is very clairvoyant. She has a very keen Third
Eye. She once told me that in my previous life I was a
female prostitute; not too spiritual a profession, eh?
So be it. But the vestiges were stilll with me then
that, according to Ann, I still exuded the resentment
of having become one. For me, that was the most clear
and straightforward pastlife reading that I have ever
had until now.

Sehari-harinya Ann melakukan praktek penyembuhan
spiritual melalui meditasi dan pembacaan kartu tarot
di rumahnya di Sanur, Bali. Kadang-kadang Ann juga
muncul di Jakarta untuk mengunjungi para pasien dan
sahabat-sahabatnya.

edisi 11 yang sekarang ini, hal 76 - Solar Plexus

BALI: The Solar Plexus of Mother Earth
--------------------------------------

The Solar Plexus is the third Chakra in our basic
energy system of seven vortexes within the human body,
which reflects as microcosm to macrocosm within the
planet as a whole being. This third Chakra has played
a very prominent role in life on earth since time
began.

Life has, through the ages, evolved up from the first,
or Base Chakra - that of instinctual basic survival,
safety and support systems – and has stepped through
the second, or Sacral Chakra – that of creativity,
co-creativity and procreativity - into this, the
third,
or Solar Plexus, Chakra – that of emotions, control,
courage and fear.

The Solar Plexus is, to date, the largest energy
vortex of our bodies and of Mother Earth. In this
third dimension we are in complete alignment with the
solar plexus - the third Chakra. As we are also the
third planet from ‘sol’, the sun, the number three
becomes a significant aspect of life, as we know it.

Bali plays an important role on the planet as it is
situated on Mother Earth in the male/right sided
aspect of the Solar Plexus, just as the liver. (N.B.
The shape of the island is akin to that of the liver
attached to Nusa Dua, the gall bladder). The liver
deals with digestion, interpretation and purification
of foodstuffs of course, and also of feelings and
emotions, including physical and bodily sensory input.
Being positioned on the right/male side of
the body, the liver has the function to actively
filtrate all five of our sensory messages that enter
from the receptive left/feminine portals, the Islets
of Langerhans, (vortexes, shaped like fingernails on a
long hand) in the spleen.

Emotions are the driving force behind all magical and
healing ‘happenings’, in this way we see why Bali is
known as the island of the gods, full of the spirit of
magic. This magic occurs through the use and/or abuse
of emotions, because the emotional body is closely
connected with the spiritual body; emotions rule
spirit. Low tone emotions such as anger, rage, hatred,
jealousy, lust and greed are the forces behind what we
call black magic, or more simply put ‘abuse of power
or spirit’. High tone emotions such as unconditional
love and compassion are the force behind all white
magic, which we recognize as healings and miracles or
more simply put, ‘correct use of power or spirit’.

The function of the liver in our body - and Bali on
Planet Earth - is to recognize whether a substance,
experience or feeling is either nourishing or toxic
which can then be dealt with accordingly; whether this
be a fat, a sugar, a protein, a carbohydrate, an
enlightened or unenlightened entity, a positive or
negative element or frequency. Being the largest
vortex, the Solar Plexus is a two-way channel for a
vast amount of substances, sensory experiences,
feelings and ‘spirit’ entering and exiting our bodies
and Mother Earth - all to be determined and purified
through the function of the liver. If recognized as
nourishment it will be retained in the body, or
planet, but if recognized as a toxin it will be
transformed and disposed of as a harmless by-product.

It is for this reason that we need to respect and take
great care of our liver, and hence of Bali. As both
have the purpose of determining what is nutritious and
what is noxious. Is it not evident then that if we
numb the function of the liver - its ability to
discern - we allow toxins and waste to languish around
in our body tissue and our blood vessels, in our
gardens and our rivers?

Remember that to feel is to heal; if we can feel it we
can heal it, at the source. It is through the liver we
can distinguish, and should it be less than delightful
then we have a responsibility to do something about
it, just as the liver does, if alert and healthy, by
transmuting it into productive waste. When we sense
that something is delightful then we should celebrate
it, appreciate it; do a little dance; sing a little
song! If it’s less than delightful then we should
elevate it. Celebrate or elevate are simple choices,
and we do always have a choice.

The more we respect our liver, and our island, the
more we are prepared to feel. To feel that which is
our responsibility to feel without running away from,
or ‘numbing’, those feelings by damaging the liver.
Sources of numbing the liver could be the consumption
of coffee and alcohol – both common sources of liver
damage - and a general emotional numbness that would
include fiery reactions to feelings. It is best to
save alcohol for killing negative bacteria topically -
and for cleaning. And, if you like coffee, just keep
the package on the shelf and inhale the fragrance. It
is the aroma that is the best part after all; doing
this will greatly improve the general well being of
your liver.

Many of us who now reside on this magical island came
innocently, seeking a warmer climate, some romance;
others came to just rest - seemingly earthly reasons.
Over the years, many have also come to realize that
our purpose is somewhat more involved than that. Life
in Bali takes us on a spiritual journey, through
emotions offering wondrous and even at times fearful
experiences, to our destination of ultimate awareness
of the need for self-discipline. Remember, in the
solar plexus, control is the issue here and
self-control is the key.

Those of us who have magical strains in our blood are
either on Earth in service to life or in service to
Self - the rest of the planet is filled with the
audience - this basically defines whether or not we
will use Spirit or abuse Spirit. Those beings in
service to life will use Spirit for the greater good
of the whole, whereas those in service to Self will
abuse Spirit for their own personal gain. A simple
distinction, and an arrangement made between both
parties in some previous existence.

Bali is challenging all of us who are drawn to this
mysterious island, whether born here, living or
visiting, to become conscious filters - likened to
molecules of healing light, energy and intention -
within the liver system, in order to bring about a
sure and positive transformation of Mother Earth’s
being through our very own Being. So be the best you
can be.

In love and light Annie Franjie Pannie

Quotes :
" Spirituality is essentially a journey within. You need no preparations, no
luggage to carry - nothing absolutely. What you need is just : LOVE ! And this
Love, can only come as an after effect of self-actualization, achieved though
the practice of meditative way of life."
