Hi Angus,

First, I guess you are talking about mayavi2 and not mayavi.
In this case, you'll get more chance if you post on enthought-dev ml.

Second, did you look at the Tips section in the Cookbook on scipy.org ?
It's a little bit hackish, Prabhu does not like this, but it works :-)
