a CDBI API change
What version of CDBI will Maypole 2.11 be released against? In
particular will it be a 'stable' version (there hasn't been one released
since 0.96 AFAIK)
Thanks, Dave
Good question. Not sure what the CDBI Api change aaron is talknig
about.. It may be Maypole::Model::CDBI change. AFIK , the only thing
affected in my app by newer CDBI 3.XX versions was the macros
template which uses accessor_name which is supposed to be deprecated
but apparently does work at all. Someone posted a bug on it and no
reply from Tony so it could be user error .
Anyway, internally, Maypole::Model::CDBI is pretty basic CDBI and
should work with any version. Templates could easily be modified to
call [% accessor_name_for | accessor_name %] .
Yeah, I make pretty heavy use of accessor_name. What I need to know is
that I won't be committing to an endless cycle of minor upgrades because
of some less-than-well-developed feature in the minor releases.
Cheers, Dave
