[Maypole] Problem in Maypole

All
  I am very new to the Maypole. I am getting the problem if i want to update column with null values. Maypole restrict me not to do such thing.
i have done thins by submitting  N/A in all those field but thins may cause problem latter.
can you suggest me a better way.
