Hi there,

I had upgraded to using v13.0 plugins and have just found that the
WindowsMidiInputMBS crashes every time the application launches on Windows OS.
The issue also consistently happens with your example 'Windows Midi'. I am
running the application on Windows 7 (Service Pack 1, 64bit). I am developing
on Mac OSX 10.8.4 with Real Studio 2012 r2.1.

In the example project, in the window open event, it seems to crash after...

i=midi.InputDevice(n)

i that is returned is an object, but has 0 or no values in the properties.

I have an Edirol UM2 MIDI interface, as well as a Creative Professional E-MU
XMidi2x2 (Drivers are installed). Other applications (non Real Studio) detect
the MIDI interfaces fine.

Using your example application, 12.3 works, but 13.0, 13.1 crash. I tried to
use the Audio plugin for v13.2pr6 but get a dialog "There are plugins that have
duplicate classes. You need to quit and resolve this issue.". The items listed..
WindowsAudioMixerMBS
WindowsMCIMBS
WindowsMCIMBS
WindowsAudioMixerMBS
I was just swapping the Audio plugin to the 13.2pr6 version, leaving the other
plugins I use with the 13.0 versions.

Any ideas what the problem is ?

Thanks,

Andy
