Looking through Apple's guide for transitioning from QTKit to AVFoundation, I
think Christian is probably right. Poster Frames don't appear to be supported
in AVFoundation, just getting an arbitrary frame based on a time-code.

As near as I can tell, Apple may be dropping support for Poster Frames. I
realize that I don't really know the history of poster frames. Was that a
QuickTime-specific technology?

*sigh*

Sincerely,

Scott
