Looking through Apple's guide for transitioning from QTKit to AVFoundation, I think Christian is probably right. Poster Frames don't appear to be supported in AVFoundation, just getting an arbitrary frame based on a time-code. <https://developer.apple.com/library/mac/technotes/tn2300/_index.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/DTS40012852-CH1-WORKING_WITH_AUDIOVISUAL_MEDIA_RESOURCES-GETTING_STILL_IMAGES_FROM_A_VIDEO> As near as I can tell, Apple may be dropping support for Poster Frames. I realize that I don't really know the history of poster frames. Was that a QuickTime-specific technology? *sigh* Sincerely, Scott -- Searchware Solutions Simply Great Software www.searchwaresolutions.com _______________________________________________ Mbsplugins_monkeybreadsoftware.info mailing list [email protected] https://ml01.ispgateway.de/mailman/listinfo/mbsplugins_monkeybreadsoftware.info
