The only things I recalled apple deprecating recently was quicktime and carbon,
They warned everyone back in 2005 at WWDC that they where going to do that. It
came to no surprise when it actual happened. They warned everyone years in
advance, which gave time to move. The move to 64 bit mac Only was warned would
happen in the future when mac OSX 10.8 went to beta at WWDC. They have not
removed 32 bit support yet. But I assuming soon they will, just how soon?

The worst Apple news I recall in recent years was back when Steve Jobs pulled
that no 3rd party tool could build for iOS BS. Then 6 month later decided it
was OK for 3rd party tools to build for iOS again. When it come to Google
(android), Apple and Microsoft changing things there nothing we can do about
it, it happens.Linux is really the most stable platform to support, but one can
not make much of a living there unless your working for someone else.
