Hello Christian! I have a project that I am adding an NSStatusItem to in order to have a global menu. I have a few questions:
1. I am having trouble getting the size of the icon correct. I've created a 16x16 icon and added it to the status item with the following code: Dim StatusMenu = New NSStatusItemMBS Call StatusMenu.CreateMenu( -1 ) StatusMenu.Title = "" StatusMenu.HighlightMode = True Dim StatusIcon as New NSImageMBS( MenuIcon, MenuIconMask ) // MenuIcon and MenuIcon Mask are valid 16x16 Xojo Pictures StatusIcon.SetSize 16, 16 StatusMenu.Image = StatusIcon Unfortunately, when the icon displays in the menubar, it looks like it is being resized slightly or otherwise distorted. Any ideas? Here are sample graphics showing the problem: Original Icon: http://www.searchwaresolutions.com/other/statusitemtest/originalicon.png Icon in Menubar: http://www.searchwaresolutions.com/other/statusitemtest/iconinmenubar.png 2. How do I account for Retina? So far, I've only been able to get low-resolution icons to appear. 3. How do I account for the Dark Menu Bar option in Yosemite? I appreciate any insight you might have. Thank you!
