Hi, I'm trying to use StdinMBS in a console application to read in data without locking the console.
if I use term.ReadString(cmd) whenever I use more than one word I only get the first one. For instance, if I type 'hello there' I get 2 triggers, one for 'hello' one for 'there' even though I enter the text once and nothing triggers until I press return. On Mac I can get around this by looping term.getcharacter until I get an end of line. The StdinMBS class example has this problem too: s.Write "String: " n=r.ReadString(t) print "string read: "+t print "string count: "+str(n) do s.Write "Character (type a and return to end): " n=r.GetCharacter print "got character: "+str(n) loop until n=65 or n=97 Entering 'hello there' shows 'hello' as the string and 't','h','e','r','e' on new lines as it loops through the extra characters. I just want to be able to read in a full single line. How can I avoid this problem?
