Ups, I forgot to say that I trusted Jeff and uploaded Richard's patch. The case is now resolved and assigned to Andy, but I won't be happy until I understand all this thing :)
I'd like to add a test for this fix (to make sure that the CPU utilization for this kind of tests stays under an acceptable level), but I don't really know how. If anyone has an idea please share it :P Maybe using Windows performance counters?
