Usually I do not abort a running test. The problematic response is most annoying when debugging unit tests. It so happens that when the debugging is over in VS, i.e. we have left the test, including all the tear downs, the test is still being debugged from the Icarus perspective. If I wish to repeat the debugging session, I have to wait for Icarus to stop.
There are always many exception outputs in the Icarus console, mostly irrelevant for the tester. It is so cluttered by it, that it looses any importance at all. I have learned to ignore the console because of it.
