I stumbled upon this post because of a google alert. It looks like an issue Mono.Cecil had with System.Core from .net 4.0, related to type forwarders. It's fixed in the trunk version of the 0.6 line of Mono.Cecil. I encourage you guys to switch to 0.9 which is much more stable, fast, and a lot less memory consuming.
