I observed following bug when moving directories
How to reproduce, imagine filesystem as this:
directory /a
directory /a/c
file /a/c/file.avi
directory /b
directory /b/c
no other files/dirs in /a or /b
left panel is /a
right panel is /b
all directories and files are on the same filesystem
the "file.avi" is a big file (700Mb, for example)
cursor is on left panel at directory c.
Now i press F6 (move) and instead of _moving_ the file from
/a/c/file.avi to /b/c/file.avi (and deleting the directory /a/c afterwards)
which take just a few miliseconds mc began to COPY the file to its destination and
after it is copied (about 10 minutes on my 486) MC will delete it from the original
destination. if I get into 'c' directory on both panels and move the file, it will
just move it instantly (as expected). Well, MC is few thousand times slower in moving
files than expected :o(
