Follow-up Comment #2, bug #13536 (project mc): Ok, here is the patch. Please, test it.
The problem was that MC wasn't aware of the fact that the filename/linkname field of a tar entry record may not be NUL terminated. This happens when the length of a filename/linkname is the same as the length of the field used to store it. _______________________________________________________ Additional Item Attachment: File name: mc-tar-name-length-fix.patch Size:1 KB A patch which enables MC to properly handle tar entries with filename/linkname of length 100 <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?item_id=13536&item_file_id=2631> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=13536> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Mc-devel mailing list http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/mc-devel
