I wasn't. I just wanted people to have the actual patch I used so they at least have something that applies. The original patch wasn't very useful in that sense unless you'd figured you'd have to copy the slang directory to slang2 before applying it. The fact I didn't update it was because I didn't know the correct solution, and your answer didn't indicate it (like in "you don't need to distinguish between '-lslang' and '-lslang2'"). So I'd rather leave in the "pseudo code" to indicate the code needed additions in those spots. Now I know "-lslang2" makes no sense those hunks can be safely dropped.
