This document could be useful for you: > http://www.tuxedo.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html i had problem on: - digital unix on alpha with old mc version(i'm not sore, but ca 4.1 - never doesn't work as good as this one :) and bash 2.05 - tru64 on alpha with mc-4.5.xx(xx is afair 33 :/ ) - pld with bash-2.05 and newest release mc (4.5.55) both on i386 and i686 so i think that this is universal problem, not only on one architectur :) So i don't write on which system i tested it. > Apparently, subshell is supposed to be restarted if it dies, but it > doesn't work for some reason.
