Yuri, Thanks for your answer. I did try with square brackets and when trying with a remote machine it gave an error. When you talk about "master branch" I suppose you are talking about the git tree. Could it be that it is not included in mc-4.7.5.2-1 in the Fedora I have ? In fact, I don't mind to download and build the git tree if I know for sure it is there, rgs, Kevin
