The Sr. Technical Analyst – Basis Administrator is also responsible for monitoring, controlling and reporting on the availability and performance of SAP systems and their connections and generates change requests as necessary. Principal Accountabilities 35% · Provide SAP Basis maintenance activities o Capacity Analysis – technology lifecycle management, patch planning, efficient use of existing technology resources and recommending future needs. o Addressing authorization issues o Ensuring transactional integrity (Lock objects, failed updates) o Providing functional and technical documentation 35% · Provide Operational Support through: o Resolving system problems through research and applying course of action o Performing system administration tasks o Providing incident management, including complex troubleshooting across technologies o Problem management, including root cause analysis o Manage and coordinate configuration, change, release, capacity and availability capabilities o Manage Migrations and support system copies through transport management 30% · Conduct system monitoring and performance reporting o Co-Manage technical monitoring tools (Solution Manager).
