*This is Rama with Sancrosoft USA Inc.* * * *POSITION: EPIC Clarity/Crystal Reports Developer* *DURATION: 6 months +* *LOCATION: Sacramento, CA * *HOURLY RATE: $ /hour * * * An immediate opportunity exists for a candidate with solid experience in Crystal Reports and EPIC Clarity reports development, to join our team. Due to an unprecedented period of growth, we have a LONG-TERM CONTRACT opportunity in the SACRAMENTO, CA area for an EPIC/CRYSTAL REPORTS DEVELOPER. Role/Responsibilities: - The selected candidate will be responsible for the following: - Provide expertise and perform report configurations and design to supplement staff on the Report Writing Team. - Create complex operational and project-related reports including design, documentation, development, testing, implementation and ongoing support. - Conduct analysis, design, documentation, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of Reporting user interfaces including alerts, prompts, screens, dashboards and templates. - Participate in meetings with stakeholders including end-user and technical groups to conduct requirements gathering, analyses and documentation to develop reporting. - Analyze, configure, document and test Epic Clarity and Chronicles reports. Validate system build with key stakeholders. - Ensure test scenarios are adequately documented and perform testing as needed. - Provide documentation and training to transfer knowledge and operational support to the Report Writing Team. Requirements: - Minimum BS/BA degree in MIS, IT, CIS, general business or related field is highly desired. - ALL candidates must have experience with Epic’s Clarity data model – NO EXCEPTIONS. Epic Clarity Certification 2009 is desired but NOT required. - Minimum 5-7 years of extensive experience designing, creating, testing, and implementing complex reports using Crystal Reports and Business Objects Enterprise reporting tools. - Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with clinical reporting, specifically Epic’s Inpatient, Ambulatory, Willow, Stork and ASAP. - Minimum 3 years experience building, testing, and implementing Reporting Workbench reports. - Experience with My Epic / Epic’s Dashboard Framework and working with Clarity Administrators is a plus but not required - Experience with OLAP and OLTP technologies. - Knowledge of data warehouses/data stores and data marts and experience using SQL query techniques to access Oracle or other relational databases. Experience pulling data from Cache or other EMR databases. - Healthcare experience in Hospital, Ambulatory and Medical Practice. Understanding of inpatient, ambulatory, and clinical /financial workflow related to reports. - Experience documenting and training users to run Reporting Workbench and Crystal Reports from Infoview. - Experience developing a test plan and executing test scenarios related to the build. - Knowledge of Epic utilities for reports creation and maintenance, including ability to determine source data. - Excellent business analytical skills and general knowledge of statistics. Need to have 2+ years of exp.
