Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or engineering.
At least five years experience developing complex, database driven and service
oriented web applications using .NET Framework, C#, HTML, ASP.NET, JavaScript,
CSS, XML, Microsoft SQL, and AJAX. Expertise using Microsoft Visual Studio
2005/2008/2010. Exposure to Java with the ability to migrate Java-based
applications to .NET using ASP.NET and C#. Background in developing both
business and presentation layers. Skilled in building reusable components. Able
to produce, manage, and maintain extensive libraries and server-side patterns.
Professional certifications a definite advantage. The candidate must have good
verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express complex
technical concepts in non-technical terms. Must be able to work well on cross-
functional project teams & foster team commitment to tasks, as well as the
ability to work well with vendors
Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for the planning, development, maintenance, and
enhancement activities of Customer Care web-based applications, their related
technologies as well as some vendor package solutions. Maintains Windows, ASP,
C#, vb.Net, ActiveX server applications and vendor applications. Provides
technical leadership in migration of web assets from Java to .Net. Provides
technical consulting support on projects or system issues. Develops business
knowledge and relationships to integrate activities with other IT departments
to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts. Fosters and
maintains relationships with clients from Business Units, provides business and
technical consultation, and meets expected service levels. Under leadership and
tactical supervision of a Software Project Lead.
