Our client has a project where data from DB2 database is loaded to staging tables and then to a data mart. Several data files are in Excel format which needs to be loaded to DB tables as well. The ideal candidate must have significant hands-on experience with SSIS - integrating, messaging & loading data from one data source to others. You must have prior experience working & resolving such data transformations in prior projects. Experience generating reports using SSRS is required Desired Skills & Experience • 5+ years of experience using SQL, T-SQL, and stored procedures • 3+ years of experience using SSIS & SSRS • Must have experience creating new data loads as well as trouble shooting existing data loads/integration services using SSIS • Experience in relational and dimensional data modeling • Thrives working in a self-directed manner • Track record of success meeting deliverable deadlines • Experience in the healthcare industry a plus • BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience Tasks to be performed: • Work with various data sources - Excel files, staging tables to load data into data marts • Rollup from data mart and load data to summary tables • Creating several reports using SSRS This position presents the possibility of remote work, though Tampa Bay-based candidates are preferred.
