Assists with Technical Support problems/issues and issues by spotting reoccurring issues and devising a solution to prevent them. * * *REQUIRED SKILLS: * A bachelor's degree. Experience with Active Directory Exchange, Enterprise Software Tools or other industry knowledge in the application of Data base services. 2-3 years experience in Systems Administration. Knowledge of TCP/IP stacks and their functionality. Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2003/2008, Active Directory Exchange and / or Enterprise Software. Advanced knowledge of Internet Information Services 6.0 and 7.x. Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of MS SQL Server 2005,2008. Minimum knowledge and troubleshooting of Visual Basic Script. Working knowledge of web application security, understanding of vulnerabilities and countermeasures. Broad knowledge of operating systems, programming languages and hardware. MSFT Windows System Admin, Windows Server 2003/2008, Active Directory, Enterprise S/W, MS SQL 2005/2008, Internet Info Services 6.0-7.x, web applications and security risks. *RESPONSIBILITIES: * Manages 200+ servers in a Active Directory environment, ensuring that each server has 100% uptime. Troubleshoots problems with networks, web services, mail services and overall aspects of an ASP solution. Monitor system logs and activity on all servers and devices. May lead or guide the work of other staff engaged in similar functions. Attend and actively participate in weekly meetings. Coordinate with development team to schedule releases of software updates.
