SQL Server / MS SQL Programmer ECM Consolidation Program has an immediate opening for a database programmer with the ability to reverse engineer code and work with a large team structure. This position entails developing tools, processes, and scripts to transform meta-data from a legacy document management system into meta-data for a new document management system to support a large migration project. You will be working with business analysts responsible for eliciting and documenting the transformation business logic and the document migration team. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into migration specifications referencing an existing database replica of the legacy document management system. You will be expected to be able to reverse engineer the database, tools and scripts already developed and will need to fix problems as they arise. There will be a short transition cycle with a database programmer currently on the project. You will be responsible for: • Maintenance and development of a replica database, tools, processes and scripts to perform transformations • Working with business analysts to translate business logic into transformation scripts which are handed off to the document migration team • Working with the document migration team to resolve transformation errors as they arise • Develop reports on object counts and usage as the need arises to support the business analysts and program reporting.
