*Respond back to ******** chi...@globalnest.com*********** *Title: QA Lead/coordinator(Infrastructure domain)* *Location: Minneapolis, MN* *Duration: Long Term* * * *Description:* * * Job Description: Test coordination includes working with Quality Leads and Application Owners to identifier testers for each infrastructure change (e.g. IE 8.0; Unix OS, Firewall Rule changes, etc.). Work with Functional Automation/Performance Lead to identify applications for which automated testing can be applied. Focus is on test coordination, test results tracking, test reporting and obtaining sign-off. In-flight projects include: IE8.0 upgrade and SQL 2008 Upgrade. New projects come in weekly. • Develop, communicate, and track to the Test Plan. • Provide input to High-Level QA estimates at initiation of each project. • Provide input in order to refine High-Level QA estimates during progressive stages of each project. • Track to and report on one’s QA status throughout the project. • Review and develop all relevant QA & test artifacts. • Familiar with HP QC • Communicate test progress, including Risk and Concerns, to QA Lead through the use of Metrics and Scorecards and regular face-to-face updates. • Continually enhance one’s own skills and builds knowledge in all aspects of the organization, the business and information systems. • Use the standard QA software tools for defect management and reporting. • Familiarizes one’s self with Wealth Management products and services at a high level. • Must have good interpersonal skills; able to establish, build and maintain relationships with staff and external vendors. • Escalate issues as appropriate, assist in resolution. • Has the ability to communicate clearly and coordinate work across diverse business and technical teams. • On-Site Coordinator: Ensure off-shore staff is well-trained on all project deliverables. • Demonstrate a commitment to customer service that is proactive and results-oriented. • Wealth Management Domain will be added advantage Skill: Java,J2EE and Web service, Job Location: Minneapolis, MN, USA, Contract: Long Term JD: should have 7+ years experience *Requirements*: Technology : strong in java/j2ee, WebServices, JAX-WS , WSDL, XSD, XML, JAXB, JMS, MultiThreading, Caching., JCA, DB2 IBM Tools and Frameworks : RAD7.x onwards, WAS7.x, MQ Series.
