Additional responsibilities include developing and reviewing end user development of Crystal Reports. *MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* *1. Provides application development, support and communication to all users of the BOE environments. *2 Designs universes and provides support to the EDW development team. *3. Provides management with business objects performance reporting and proactively plans and implements tuning as indicated. *4. Tunes sql statements as needed. 5. Assists in overall EDW presentation architecture. *6. Provides analysis based on legacy reports and recommends a solution delivery for the look and feel of the presentation to be developed in Business Objects. 7 Assists with design of look and feel of analytic SharePoint sites. 8. On occasion writes a new Crystal report from user requirements. 9. Performs other duties as required or assigned. *SKILLS AND ABILITIES:* Demonstrates technical review and oversight capabilities. Demonstrates knowledge of SDLC. Demonstrates capabilities to develop analytics in all components of Business Objects and Crystal reports. Demonstrates ability to communicate with business and technical staff. Demonstrates strong data and report analytic skills. Demonstrates ability to coordinate diverse tasks. Demonstrates strong capabilities using structured query languages (ANSI/SQL). Demonstrates knowledge of Sharepoint.. Demonstrates ability to analyze problems and formulate solutions. Demonstrates ability to work independently. *EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required. Minimum of 7 years progressive experience in the development and support of all aspects of Business Objects applications.
